DevOps Engineer Associate (Fashion)

Metyis is growing! We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with 3-5 years of experience to join our Data and Analytics team, at our Digital Campus in Porto.

What you will do

• Design, develop, implement, automate & monitor CI/CD/CT pipelines for an Azure based Data Platform;
• Establish and enforce DevOps best practices such as automated testing and deployment strategies;
• Keep up-to-date with emerging data technologies, trends, and best practices, and make recommendations for their adoption within the organization's DevOps ecosystem;
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to other data professionals, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning;
• Be proactive and be willing to work closely with Data Engineering, Data Science, MLOps & Cloud Infrastructure teams;

What you will bring 

• 3+ years working experience as Azure DevOps Engineer in the field of Data & Analytics or in a similar role;
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Azure is required;
• You’re proficient with scripting languages (e.g. Python, YAML, git, bash, PowerShell, …);
• You’re proficient with CI/CD tools (e.g. Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitHub Actions…);
• You have experience with testing & data quality (e.g. pytest, great expectations, etc.);
• You have experience with containerisation and orchestration technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, …);
• You have experience with infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform, …);
• You have experience of working in an Agile environment (e.g. Scrum, …);
• Certifications in Azure are a plus. (e.g. Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Solution Architect Expert, Azure Data Engineer Associate, ...);
• Being familiar with software engineering best practises in coding, software design patterns, testing & debugging are a plus;
• Being familiar with DataOps principles in observability, monitoring, & incident reporting are a plus;
