We are seeking a skilled System Engineer with a strong background in embedded AI systems and electro-optics cameras.

As AI System Engineer you will have significant impact in our R&D projects and specifically computer vision projects, as we venture to new technologies and will lead work groups in our projects as part of the connected devices line of products.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing the wholistic system solution which includes component selection of video cameras, edge devices defining communication protocols and designing the cloud backend integration for delivering the computer vision product.

The candidate should have a deep understanding of AI system engineering, including the hardware and software required to deploy and integrate computer vision systems.

The responsibilities will include defining System, HW, Embedded, ATE, SW & Integration requirements as well as contributing to the design stage of each discipline, defining the protocol, technical problem solving, proof of concept and field testing and assisting in tests design and investigations.

Position requires multidisciplinary understanding, working closely with cross-functional teams, including product, field testers, project managers and all R&D disciplines.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in system engineering with a focus on electro-optics and embedded AI systems
  • Strong knowledge of full system solutions for computer vision based products and edge devices with neural processing
  • Experience with setting up edge devices
  • Experience with Linux development and deployment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to understand IoT complex systems and quickly grasp new technical concepts with focus on challenges ahead.

Advantage:

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • Experience in system engineering of IoT or similar projects
  • Coding capabilities (C/C#/Java/Python)
  • Experience with RF communication technologies (BLE, WiFi, LTE-M, LoRa, etc)
  • Knowledge in backend systems and serverless solutions
  • Experience with machine learning and computer vision frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or OpenCV
  • Experience with Jetson Nano and other low-cost edge devices for running computer vision algorithms
