Job Description:

Own your career as the Sr. Director, Technical Delivery and Data Analytics at GDIT. HOW THE SR. DIRECTOR, TECHNICAL DELIVERY & DATA ANALYTICS WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Leads a strategy and reporting function focused on delivering complex insights and recommendations to enhance customer experience and create solutions, ensuring they align with client needs and industry best practices
  • Oversees the development of predictive modeling and analytics, advocates for data-informed decision making, and collaborates with stakeholders on effective data strategies
  • Develops data analytics solutions, ensuring data quality, and driving strategic initiatives to improve business performance through data insights
  • Collaborates with clients to understand their business objectives, data analytics and management requirements, and risk management strategies
  • Has expert business planning and forecasting skills as well as expert analytic, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Drives long-term data analytics and reporting strategy and ensures data-related policies, procedures and processes are in place to address complex business needs.
  • Develops and implement comprehensive data analytics offerings that address current and future threats, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards
  • Oversees the deployment and integration of data analytics technologies and solutions
  • Provides strategic guidance on data analytics initiatives, and leads and mentor teams of fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
  • Oversees technical staff and provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback for both performance and professional development.
  • Stays current with emerging industry trends, data analytics trends, technologies, and threat landscapes, and incorporate relevant advancements into the solution architecture
  • Prepares and present detailed plans, reports, and recommendations to senior leadership and clients
  • Ensures the continuous improvement of data analytics processes, tools, and methodologies, project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful delivery of technical delivery and data analytics solutions
  • Liaises with GDIT's CTO teams to develop innovation strategies for our programs
  • Works closely with executives and senior business leaders to develop strategies for effective data analysis, data driven decision making, and reporting
  • Provides strategic consulting and recommendations to partner teams based on data driven insights, helping them make informed decisions to drive business success
  • Oversees and shape strategic partnerships with stakeholder teams on improving the customer experience, actively collaborating to identify and implement enhancements
  • Oversees all analytics operations to identify data improvement needs, correct discrepancies and ensure quality.
  • Select, configure and implement data analytics solutions as well as defines metrics and relevant data sources
  • Proactively identifies areas of opportunity and/or improvement based on trends in the data, and use these insights to inform new products and/or operational improvements
  • Oversees data integration from multiple sources to produce forecasts, reports, ad hoc requests, dashboards, etc.
  • Perform other duties as requested

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in data analytics, with at least 7 years in a senior management or solution design role for a large program of greater than $50M or 50 FTEs
  • Direct experience with CBP and other federal agencies, preferably experience with Law Enforcement knowledge and Immigration enforcement operations
  • Extensive knowledge of data analytic frameworks (e.g., Predictive Analytics, Diagnostic Analytics) and regulatory requirements
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing complex data analytics solutions in diverse environments
  • Proficiency in advanced cybersecurity technologies and solutions (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, firewalls, cloud security)
  • Strong strategic planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build strong relationships with clients and senior leadership
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Data+, Google Analytics Certification or similar are highly desirable
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Active Top-Secret Clearance

The likely salary range for this position is $212,500 - $287,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
