Head of Data and AI Platform Engineering

What to expect

 As the Head of Data and AI Platform Engineering, you will lead a team of engineers responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining our data and AI platforms. You will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to design and implement scalable, high-performance systems that enable our business to make data-driven decisions. You will also be responsible for managing and mentoring your team, ensuring that they have the skills and resources they need to deliver quality work on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of our data and AI platforms. 
• Manage and mentor a team of data and AI platform engineers. 
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to understand their data and AI needs and design solutions that meet those needs. 
• Develop and implement best practices for data and AI platform engineering, including version control, testing, and deployment. 
• Ensure that our data and AI platforms are scalable, reliable, and performant. 
• Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and automation. 
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends in data and AI. 

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. 
• 10+ years of experience in data and AI platform engineering. 
• 5+ years of experience managing a team of engineers. 
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
