The assignment
It is critical that the subsystems and sensor of a ventilator provide high accuracy and stability. For that reason, there are tight constraints on the production floor to produce a product of high precision. The purpose of the assignment is to study production statistics on particularly the O2 sensor of our current ventilators and apply advanced data analysis and statistical methods. Additionally, the project shall aim for studies on finding potential hidden patterns, parameter correlation studies and evaluate possible machine learning algorithms for future predictions. The projects main aim is to further understand the sensitivity of the device.
Problems and suggested tasks
- Understand the O2 sensor working principle and the sensitivity of the device.
- Apply advanced data analysis and statistical methods on production data.
- Analyze data patterns and parameter correlation studies.
- Evaluate possible machine learning algorithm to make predictions.
- Documentation
Number of students: 1
Preferred start date: 2025-03-31 or any date suitable for all.
