Data Measurement and Reporting Lead Analyst

Overview

Guides the team to deliver tasks in the Data Measurement and Reporting job family. Assists in supporting, designing, development and/or implementation phase of data-related solutions for small projects under the guidance of senior team members.  Takes lead in DB design decisions to support reporting needs.  Can help with reporting as a secondary part of the job.

Responsibilities

The Data Measurement and Reporting Lead Analyst will play an important role in the development and support of key data-related deliverables within the Medicare Technology Operations team, including but not limited to, a data lake that interfaces with various systems, like ServiceNow, and IT service operations insights and reporting, mostly driven out of Tableau.  This individual role will focus mainly on data engineering and maintenance of the reporting data lake.

Job Duties

• Collaborate with cross-functional team to build out a new, multi-purpose data lake

• Maintain the data lake for long haul use and expansion

• Support reporting needs through data query help and basic data review

Skills

• Strong proficiency in Relational databases and can build from scratch

• Strong proficiency in SQL querying and scripting

• Understanding of Tableau and other reporting tools

• Python coding a plus

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams --- includes both written and verbal

• Strong organizational skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a collaborative, team-orientated attitude are required
