As a Product Data Scientist within the Global AI department, your work will be pivotal in enabling our team and our stakeholders to understand how our models are behaving over time as market conditions change. The Global AI team works cross-functionally to identify opportunities to build and deploy advanced ML solutions throughout the organization and works closely with Data Scientists, ML engineers, and Data Engineers to build and maintain best-in-class data products to improve HelloFresh’s user experience. The Global AI team is focused on designing scalable and automated data products using a variety of AI, big data tools, and cloud platforms (AWS, Spark, Prefect, Databricks, etc.)
You will…
- Actively contribute as a solution-oriented member within autonomous, cross-functional agile teams, collaborating with product owners, data engineers, machine learning engineers, data scientists, and business intelligence teams.
- Take ownership over monitoring experiments, lead exploratory deep dive analysis into model performance, build dashboards to automate reporting for stakeholders.
- Demonstrate an understanding of econometrics, customer price elasticity, and causal inference to form and test hypotheses.
- Work closely with marketing stakeholders to understand their analytics needs and prescribe solutions.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of HelloFresh’s pricing model and how customers respond to price and discount changes.
- Work with state-of-the-art technologies like Databricks, Tecton, Prefect, Tableau, Statsig, and more.

- Able to tell stories with data analysis and visualizations.
- Passionate about data and machine learning with a strong desire to learn new technologies.
- An experienced data scientist/analyst with the ability to interact with a data lake and perform data analysis using Python/PySpark/SQL.
You have…
- Master’s degree or PhD in Economics, Statistics or related field desired.
- 2+ years of experience in data science/analytics with a proven track record of complex data science projects.
- Competent in Python/PySpark.
- Expertise in data analysis and visualization tools, such as Pandas, R, Seaborn, Plotly, Tableau, or Streamlit.
- Experience with quantitative research, causal inference, econometrics, customer price elasticity, A/B testing.
