Work you’ll do 

The Team Lead will lead a team responsible for implementing data engineering and process improvements  for client stakeholders' program. The team lead will oversee the team’s use of data visualization and statistical programming tools on enterprise data to advance and enable the client's key mission outcomes. In this role, you will help lead and manage all phases of analytic work product development, from the identification of key business questions, through data collection and ETL, from performing analyses and using a wide range of statistical, machine learning, and applied mathematical techniques to delivery insights to decision-makers. This role requires special attention to the interplay between data and the business processes that produce it and the decision-makers that consume insights. This role will also be required to provide significant leadership across the entire team, and spend significant amount of time conducting client engagements with senior client staff across multiple stakeholder domains.

The GPS AI & Data Operations offering is responsible for developing advanced analytics products and applying data visualization and statistical programming tools to enterprise data in order to advance and enable the key mission outcomes for our clients. Our team supports all phases of analytic work product development, from the identification of key business questions through data collection and ETL, and from performing analyses and using a wide range of statistical, machine learning, and applied mathematical techniques to delivery insights to decision-makers. Our practitioners give special attention to the interplay between data and the business processes that produce it and the decision-makers that consume insights.

 

Qualifications 

Required: 

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
• Active Secret security clearance required 
• 5+ years of experience with programming languages such as Python, R, and VBA; and query languages such as SQL
• 5+ years of experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Qlik, PowerBI, d3.js 

 

Preferred:

• Strong team leadership
• Ability to develop and present data in meaningful ways through use of visualization tools and compelling narratives
• Familiarity with programs offering citizenship pathways for US government employees or its affiliates
