We are looking for a talented Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing data sets and generating insights that can drive strategic decisions within the organization. Your work will support various departments by providing timely and accurate reporting and analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with different business units to understand their data requirements and deliver quality data analysis to meet their needs.
  • Collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
  • Create and automate reports and dashboards that communicate performance metrics and business insights.
  • Utilize statistical methods to interpret and analyze data; present findings in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements based on data-driven insights.
  • Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure data integrity and availability for reporting needs.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of methodologies, processes, and analysis findings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a data analysis role, preferably within the financial services or mortgage industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and experience with SQL for querying databases.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and their applications.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a straightforward manner.
  • Experience with Excel, including advanced functions and pivot tables.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
