The Team – your impact

This job is about creating real business impact and accelerating the energy transition with data and AI! We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Data and AI Consultant (f/m/d)to join our team. As a consultant (f/m/d) in this role, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and solutions to our energy networks  in the realms of data analysis, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.

Your Role – meaningful & rewarding​

• Build up meaningful relationships and identify opportunities for data-driven optimization together with our energy networks partners in all E.ON countries.
• Lead project teams of data professionals with your vision for transformation and digitalization within the energy networks industry.
• Mentor and guide data professionals, leveraging your expertise to foster their growth and development and encouraging a positive team culture,
• Take ownership of project planning, task assignment, and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope and within budget.
• Lead workshops and collaborate with board members to define and drive the strategic vision for utilizing data and AI in the digital transformation of the energy sector.
• Contribute hands-on in engagements and develop transformative data products with your deep experience in data science, data engineering and/or project management.
• Contribute towards employer branding by speaking at conferences, writing articles and being active on social media.

Your Profile – authentic & open-minded​  

• You have several years of professional experience in project management within the intersection of energy networks and technology, Data & AI and/or management consulting.
• Extensive knowledge of the energy industry with a particular focus on energy networks.
• You have a degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science or a related technical discipline and significant hands-on work experience.
• Demonstrated ability to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements and solutions.
• Experience acting as a bridge between data and AI experts and business stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to finding innovative solutions.
• You have practical knowledge about MLOps and best practice when it comes to software development, such as version control, CI/CD, monitoring, automation and testing (Azure DevOps is a plus)
• You have hands-on coding experience to process huge data sets, time series analysis, perform statistical data analysis and build supervised and unsupervised models in Python.
• You already have knowledge of Machine Learning frameworks like MLlib, scikit-learn, Azure ML, etc.
• Ideally you have already experience with data transformations in Spark and Databricks.
• Excellent writing and communication skills, considering varying levels of precision and matching the audience .
• Fluent in English; German language skills are seen as a plus.
