Summary

Anaconda is seeking a talented Software Engineer, Frontend to join our rapidly growing company. This is an exciting opportunity to grow and develop while building the essential tools and platforms that empower millions of data scientists, AI researchers, and machine learning practitioners worldwide. You'll have the chance to shape how users interact with and leverage our ecosystem of development tools, making complex technologies more accessible and effective.


What You’ll Do:

  • Be a key member of the Web Experience Team
  • Attend daily SCRUM meetings, sprint demos, etc.
  • Work with other teams to coordinate joint deliverables
  • Work with QA team to ensure the highest level of product quality
  • Collaborate with the UX team in building and evolving a user experience that is both delightful and impactful.
  • Write and maintain unit tests using Jest
  • Create and maintain software documentation
  • Review PRs, contribute to engineering and product discussions

 

What You Need:

  • An understanding of how web applications work including REST APIs and best development practices
  • Hands on experience working on software that is in production (that customers use)
  • Hands on experience  WITH ES6 AND TYPESCRIPT (using Angular 2+, React or VueJS)
  • Hands-on experience with SASS/SCSS and CSS 
  • Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques.

What Will Make You Stand Out:

  • Experience working with a Design System
  • Experience using Micro-Front end architecture
  • Experience using and collaborating with UX in Figma or similar
  • Familiarity with build frameworks (Webpack, Vite, Rollup, etc)
