Qualifications

OPS 545.01 (Formerly 801): Data Management Technology

Winter 10 Week Term 2025

In-Person Saturdays: 1/11 - 3/15, 8:00am - 12:00pm

3 CU

Location: Moraga campus

This course prepares students to effectively manage data through database theory and tools. Topics include relational database structure, database queries and reports, and database management issues such as concurrency control, data security and integrity. Structured Query Language (SQL) and a structured database software package will be used in the course.

Qualifications:

Candidates must have a Master's or Ph.D. preferred in a relevant area of Business Analytics or a closely related field.

Candidates should have a successful record of teaching experience at the undergraduate level and experience/familiarity with online/hybrid instruction in order to prepare for contingencies. This position requires all course work to be performed in the state of California. Candidates must perform all course-related work within the state of California.

The salary range for this position is $6,480 -$10,308 dependent on qualifications. The salary range for this position is covered by the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the College and SEIU, Local 1021, available here.
