This opening is for Applied Research Team (ART) at Collins Aerospace India for Senior Lead Engineer- digital twin solution architect for Aerospace product & systems.

Job Description:

  • Your role as a Senior Lead Engineer- digital twin solution architect will be to develop solution architecture, design, enhance, and oversee the complete development of digital.
  • Consult with various stakeholders to identify the best solution & scope of digital twin architecture for a given business problem & come up with a robust, scalable solution blueprint.
  • As part of your job, you will be responsible for stakeholder management, responding to RFPs, and creating proposals.
  • The ability to design and realize a digital twin project from end to end, which involves connecting multiple domains.
  • Participate in technology discussions across various partners (startup/vendor/university) to define state-of-the-art solution architectures.
  • Support the validation of digital twin instances across a variety of platforms (Ex: Azure, AWS).
  • Design and implement a digital twin solution eco-system technology roadmap.
  • Bring together multiple engineering streams into a comprehensive solution that can be offered to our customers.
  • It would be desirable to have knowledge of IOT and Industry 4.0 topics.
  • Help grow business by contributing to your capacity in customer pitches, solution evaluations, vendor evaluation and management, etc.
  • Managing and guiding multiple development teams during platform development
  • Keep up to date with the latest technology stack and adapt the digital twin architecture to address various business problems.
  • Participation in various technical forums (internal and external), de-mystifying the capabilities of digital twins, to reinforce our position as a strong engineering partner.
  • Contribute to the generation of IP related to the topic through patents, papers, publications, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s/ PhD in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, Mathematics or related fields from a reputed institution

Experienced Needed:

  • Having worked in various roles related to research, development, solution architecture, and team management for more than 10 years.
  • Hands-on experience in digital twins development
  • Expertise in physics, mathematics, probability, statistics, and algorithms
  • Capability to elicit requirements effectively.
  • A solid understanding of AI and ML and the ability to leverage them to solve complex industrial challenges.
  • Ability to develop algorithms for a predictive analytics-based asset health monitoring solution.
  • Digital Twin Projects require an understanding of first principles-based models.
  • Good programming and logical thinking capabilities
  • Ability to work with engineering tools necessary for rapid prototype development.
  • Good understanding of embedded systems and signal processing
  • Presentation and stakeholder management skills are essential.
  • Good understanding of various public cloud platforms, including Azure, AWS, etc.
