As a Lead Data Quality Analyst in the People and Operational Analytics team, will play a critical role in managing and ensuring the quality of data within our HR systems. This individual will monitor, evaluate, and optimize data quality processes, focusing on identifying issues and implementing solutions to enhance data integrity and reliability across various HR data domains. The ideal candidate has experience in HR data analytics, data governance, and quality control with an understanding of HR processes, systems, and data management best practices

Data Analyst Roles and Responsibilities

Data Quality and Integrity
Ensure that data is accurate, consistent, and reliable throughout its lifecycle, which is critical for making valid and trustworthy decisions
Monitor and validate HR people data (e.g., employee demographics, payroll data, talent management data) to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
Identify and correct data discrepancies, errors, and gaps in HR data sources, including employee information and benefits data.
Implement data validation checks and controls to improve data quality in partnership with HR, IT, and other relevant stakeholders.
Cleanse data and scrutinize computer-generated reports and outputs to identify and rectify coding errors
Data Analysis & Reporting
Analyze HR data quality metrics and create regular reports to track progress and trends.
Conduct root cause analysis for data quality issues and develop solutions to prevent future data inaccuracies.
Collaborate with HR and analytics teams to develop data dashboards and insights, enhancing visibility into key HR metrics and data health. Create and maintain processes to generate accurate and timely reports that help stakeholders understand and act on key data insights


Identify opportunities for process enhancements
Engage with managers from various departments to specify data requirements for analysis projects tailored to their unique business processes
Interpret Data
Detect, examine, and decode trends or patterns within intricate datasets
Employ statistical techniques to scrutinize data and produce actionable business insights
Your analyses will help extract meaningful insights and trends, which can then inform business decisions and strategies
Develop data dashboards, charts, and visual aids to support decision-making across departments
Data Governance & Compliance
Enforce data governance policies and ensure that HR data practices align with legal and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
Support HR teams in maintaining data privacy, security, and confidentiality standards.
Maintain data documentation and support audits related to HR data quality and governance.
Process Improvement & Optimization
Develop, document, and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for data quality management.
Identify opportunities to automate data quality controls and streamline data processes within HR systems.
Partner with HR system administrators to implement technology improvements that enhance data quality.
Design scripts and tools to automatically extract large volumes of data from databases, improving efficiency and availability.

Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with HR, IT, and data engineering teams to support data integration, migration, and management efforts.

Performs Complex Analyses
Conduct in-depth data analyses using advanced statistical methods and tools to uncover patterns, correlations, and insights
Coordinate with management to align business and informational priorities
Collaborate with the management team to determine and rank the needs of different business units



Exhibit exceptional analytical abilities to compile, structure, examine, and present substantial data sets with precision and thoroughness.
Capable of critically evaluating data to derive meaningful, actionable insights.
Demonstrate superior communication and presentation capabilities, adept at simplifying complex data insights for audiences without a technical background.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
• Possess a solid foundation in analytics tools (such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau) and proficiency in data analysis languages including SQL .
• Capable of critically evaluating data to derive meaningful, actionable insights.
• Demonstrate superior communication and presentation capabilities, adept at simplifying complex data insights for audiences without a technical background.
• Good troubleshooting and debugging skills.
• Proficient in standard software development, such as version control, testing, and deployment
• Demonstrated basic knowledge of statistical analytical techniques, coding, and data engineering
• Ability to Solve complex problems with multi-layered data sets
• Ability to innovate and determine new approaches & technologies to solve business problems and generate business insights & recommendations.
• Ability to multi-task and strong attention to detail
• Flexibility to work as a member of a matrix based diverse and geographically distributed project teams
• Good communication skills - both verbal and written – and strong relationship, collaboration skills, and organizational skills
The following skills will be considered as a plus.
• People Analytic experience
• Possess knowledge/expertise in data modelling and management techniques and strategies
• Technical expertise in data architecture principles and design aspects of various database management systems and reporting concepts
• Experience with visualization/reporting technologies (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau)
