JR67952 NAND Cell Array Device engineer - internship

The mission of a device engineer working Process and Device Technology Development group at Micron Technology Inc. is analyzing, modeling and improving the device electrical characteristics for the next generation NAND technologies in order to meet the performances and reliability specs required for NAND products within project timelines.

Job profile or this internship:

  • Understanding NAND cell physics and array-devices operations algorithms, performances and reliability requirements
  • Defining and executing new testing flows to measure critical cells array electrical characteristics and define automatic electrical monitors for volume production
  • Building physical models of new cells array electrical evidence in collaborating with TCAD team
  • Having cross-functional interactions to address device/array deficiencies with design/process/device teams
  • Contributing to the performance projections for the next generation NAND technologies, based on data modeling, to grant competitiveness 
  • Supporting the qualification and transfer of the technology as needed
  • Updating team and management as to the status of the projects.

Qualifications:

Successful candidates for this position will have:

  • A solid understanding of semiconductor devices and processes.
  • The knowledge of or experience with nonvolatile memories.
  • Experience of NAND array electrical characterization or attitude for that
  • The coding skills to characterize and model cell / array properties. Typical platforms/languages used: JMP, MATLAB, PERL, PYTHON
  • A good understanding of statistics.
  • Problem solving and driving for results. 
  • A strong attitude to work on cross functional teams 
  • Solid communication and reporting abilities.

Education:           

Master degree in electrical engineering
