Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Engineer – Data Analysis & Digital Generation to join our team.  The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creating digital solutions and data analysis, with a passion for ensuring the highest quality standards in our products and processes.  This candidate will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing data to help drive business decisions and make improvements.  This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis Tools: Create powerful data analysis tools using SAP, Power BI, SAP Analysis for Office, ETL (KNIME), RedLake, Power Automate, Power Apps, and BI Launchpad.
  • Global Data Consolidation: Consolidate data from various regions and Business Units using Oracle - SQL and ETL (KNIME) to ensure reporting accuracy.
  • KPI Coordination: Collect, consolidate, and validate data for various KPIs and prepare it for in-depth analysis.
  • Support & Training: Develop comprehensive documentation and training materials to support end-users and process owners in utilizing reports and analytical tools.
  • Innovative Automation: Conceptualize and develop automation solutions to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.

  • Experienced: Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in relevant fields

Work Activities and Responsibilities:

  • Development of tools for data analysis from the SAP system, using Power BI, SAP Analysis for Office, ETL (KNIME), RedLake, Power Automate, Power Apps, BI Launchpad.
  • Consolidation of data (regional and BU (Business Unit)), using Oracle programs - SQL and ETL (KNIME), for report accuracy.
  • Ownership of the Monthly Quality Report (MQR) for the MA division, which includes maintenance, timely updates, continuous improvement and automation, setting goals for various indicators according to management requirements, regular support and alignment with data owners.
  • Preparation and consolidation of global data and creation of reports for the needs of the MA Quality Management Board meetings.
  • Coordination of various tasks within the MA quality organization for collecting, consolidating, and validating data for different key performance indicators (KPIs) and preparing data for analysis.
  • Creation of documentation and training materials, as well as providing support to end users and holders of various quality processes for the use of reports and data analytics.
  • Unification of data within the global MA/QM organization for the purpose of developing automated reports.
  • Development of concepts and solutions for automation.
  • Creating solutions in systems that will signal potential deviations in the process to interested parties.
  • Development and maintenance of internal mappings for all MA/QM reports.
  • Constant work on improving and optimizing existing tools within MA/QM reporting.
  • Mentoring, support, and introduction to work for new team members.
  • Other tasks as assigned as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or other technical field required.
  • 5-7 years of experience in Quality Engineering (in exceptional cases of candidates that have experience in the work activities, less is acceptable)
  • Responsible, accountable, and independent worker and self-starter who is relationship focused, yet analytical and persuasive with a positive attitude and works with a sense of urgency.
  • Power BI experience required
  • Proficiency in English
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to communicate with various areas on multiple levels
  • Ability to explain technical content to a non-technical source

Additional Information

  • Position currently participates in Smart Work.  Depending on the activities for the team additional in person time can be anticipated at times. 
  • May occasionally have to lift up to 50 pounds, including occasional bending and stretching.
  • May have to sit or stand for extended periods of time when attending conference calls.
  • Willingness and flexibility for travel to Bosch or customer sites domestically and internationally, as required to meet business needs.
