Job Description
The Senior Research Assistant, Data Management will be required to design, program, build and maintain data capturing systems, monitor data quality, and analyse data for clinical trials, cohort studies and other projects being conducted both internally and externally to the University, and liaise with research teams under the supervision of the Professor of Biostatistics.
The Senior Research Assistant could also be asked to contribute to database user guides, instruction manuals and training for clinical operations and research teams; supervise junior research assistants; or assist and contribute to the statistical workshop program being conducted by the biostatistics group.

This is a fixed-term (2 years), full-time position and will be based at the Griffith University Nathan campus.

Salary range
The full time equivalent base salary for a Senior Research Assistant (Grade 1) will be in the range $90,775 - $101,354 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $106,206 - $118,585 per annum.
About you
The occupant of this position will hold a research higher degree or coursework master’s degree in data management, biostatistics or an equivalent combination of relevant experience, education and training. They should possess strong IT skills relevant to database development and data management, including expertise with REDCap and Qualtrics, and have a broad knowledge of statistical concepts related to biomedical and health research and familiarity with statistical software (e.g. R, Stata).
