Junior Cloud Specialist (Oracle Analytics Cloud - OCI)

This role focuses on developing, optimizing, and supporting Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) solutions on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). As a Junior Cloud Specialist, you will work closely with senior engineers to build analytics solutions, perform performance tuning, and develop innovative analytics functionalities. Candidates with experience in any cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) are welcome to apply, as long as they have a strong desire to learn and specialize in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Oracle Analytics.

What You Will Do:

• Assist in Analytics Solution Development: Work with senior team members to design and implement Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) solutions based on business requirements. Develop skills in configuring, deploying, and optimizing analytics solutions within OCI.
• Performance Tuning: Help identify and implement performance improvements within analytics solutions. Learn to fine-tune data models, optimize queries, and develop caching strategies to ensure efficient analytics processes.
• Innovate in the Analytics Area: Support the development of new features and functionalities within Oracle Analytics Cloud to meet evolving business needs. Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and implement innovative solutions that drive data-driven insights.
• Monitor and Maintain Analytics Environments: Support the monitoring of analytics solutions for data accuracy, performance, and availability. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues to maintain high-quality analytics output.
• Collaborate with senior team members: Work closely with business users, data analysts, and other IT teams to gather requirements and understand analytics needs. Support knowledge-sharing and cross-functional collaboration.
• Stay Updated on Cloud and Analytics Trends: Actively learn about Oracle Cloud and analytics tools, keeping up with the latest updates and industry trends. Share knowledge and bring new ideas to the team for continuous improvement.

What You Will Bring:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Cloud Knowledge: Some experience with cloud platforms (e.g., OCI, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is required. Familiarity with basic cloud concepts, especially as they apply to analytics, is preferred.
• Technical Skills:
  • Knowledge of SQL and an interest in learning Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
  • Knwoledge of Python and an interst of implement solution in OCI World. 
  • Understanding of Performance test concept . (Jmeter prefered)
  • Familiarity with data integration concepts and ETL processes.
  • Interest in performance optimization techniques, including data modeling, query tuning, and caching.
• Analytics and Data Skills:
  • Some knowledge of analytics tools (e.g., Oracle Analytics Cloud, FDI ,Tableau, Power BI, or other cloud analytics tools) is preferred.
  • Understanding of data warehousing and business intelligence concepts is a plus.
• Soft Skills:
  • Eager to learn and develop expertise in Oracle Analytics Cloud and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous coursework, internship, or hands-on experience with any major cloud provider, with a focus on analytics services if possible.
• Exposure to Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) or Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) is a plus.
• Interest or experience in data visualization, business intelligence, or data science.
