Power BI Developer | About You

As a Power BI Developer, you are responsible for developing interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations that inform decision-making. You thrive at the intersection of technical expertise and business impact. Highly analytical and innovative, you bring clarity to intricate data challenges through scalable, effective solutions. With a proven ability to develop and reverse-engineer complex BI products, you are detail-oriented, collaborative, and eager to deliver high-impact analytics in a dynamic environment.

Power BI Developer | Day-to-Day

  • Design, build, and validate dashboards, reports, and data solutions to meet business needs.
  • Develop and maintain databases, data lakes, data warehouses, and related queries for reporting.
  • Perform data imports, exports, and conversions between internal and external systems.
  • Integrate BI platforms with enterprise systems to deliver cohesive and actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs, gather requirements, and align solutions with objectives.
  • Optimize data models and queries to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability.

Power BI Developer | Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience developing Power BI solutions, including advanced DAX and Power Query.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft BI Stack (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS) and advanced T-SQL for data management.
  • Expertise in designing scalable databases, data lakes, and data warehouses with tabular and multidimensional modeling (DAX, MDX).
  • Proven ability to integrate BI tools with enterprise systems to deliver actionable insights.
  • Strong analytical skills with a history of reverse-engineering and improving data solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Informatica, IICS, Collibra, and Snowflake are nice to have.
