About the role:
We are seeking a highly skilled AI Architect / Senior AI Engineer  (m/f/d) to lead the design, development, and deployment of innovative AI systems and solutions. This unique role combines the responsibilities of both AI engineering and AI architecture, offering the opportunity to influence the technical direction of AI projects from development to deployment, and ensuring that AI systems are built to scale, are efficient, and meet business needs.

In this role, you will be collaborating with internal cross-functional teams and external suppliers to deliver cutting-edge AI solutions, optimizing performance, and ensuring the quality, security, and scalability of AI applications. You will have the opportunity to shape the technical landscape of AI systems from both an architectural and engineering perspective. If you have a deep understanding of AI technologies and architecture, along with experience in developing and deploying AI solutions, this is an exciting opportunity to drive impactful AI innovation in a dynamic environment.

Job Description

About your tasks: 

• Work closely with product & program managers, data scientists, and engineers to understand business needs and translate them into AI architecture & solutions.
• Lead the design of AI systems and architectures, ensuring they are scalable, efficient, and aligned with business objectives.
• Develop and implement end-to-end AI solutions, from data collection and preprocessing to model deployment and continuous improvement.
• Drive the development of generative AI solutions using commercially available LLM services to enhance our products and services.
• Explore new AI technologies and algorithms, and experiment with innovative approaches to enhance AI systems.
• Lead the deployment of machine learning models in production environments using tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior AI engineers, fostering a collaborative environment focused on innovation and best practices.

Qualifications

About you: 

• 5+ years of experience in AI, machine learning, and AI system architecture, with a proven track record of deploying ML & AI solutions in production environments.
• Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras.
• Expertise in building scalable and efficient AI architectures, with experience in microservices for conversational AI and real-time applications.
• Experience with containerization tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices for CI/CD in AI systems.
• Experience with model evaluation, hyperparameter tuning, and performance monitoring.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring, observability, and performance tracking tools tailored for AI/ML applications to ensure reliability and performance.
