About the Team
The Workday on Workday team is growing to Dublin. We are looking for a data informatics analyst to join the team. You will partner with WoW data analysts who love food and having fun! The team works multi-functionally with our business partners, and support each other to tackle problems and the data needs within Workday’s Core Applications (oCHRO, oCFO). As an analyst, you will work with some of the most innovative and intelligent business system analysts with a vast knowledge of the tools within Workday to make the experience of Workday the best it can be.Do you see yourself as a self-starter who is passionate about tackling exciting projects? About the Role
Workday is looking for a Data Informatics Analyst, focused on reporting, with a passion for learning, helping business partners design reports and data analysis. This role will work across our Work day People & Purpose (P&P), Finance and Platform Services teams to improve their processes with Automation and Data Science to achieve their goals. The ideal candidate brings a detailed understanding of data modelling, reporting frameworks and has the ability to drive processes improvement strategies, and solution with the extensibility of Workday’s reporting tools. Superb communication skills (written and verbal) and an ability to partner with our business counterparts to help influence reporting are a must.
About You
Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional experience in a data analyst role
- 1+ years of professional experience in a Data Scientist role
- Understanding of relational data concepts
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality with sensitive information.
Other Qualifications
- Familiarity with Workday HCM or Workday FIN, Workday reporting, and/or Workday Prism, a plus
- Experienced in SQL and proficient in Python or R.
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Demonstrable understanding of business requirements gathering (e.g., identifying and mapping business needs to application capabilities).
- Ability to communicate data into significant items for various audiences, including but not limited to, functional end-users and executive partners.
- Enjoy communicating and collaborating, and establishing positive relationships with all levels of an organization.
- Ability to identify process gaps and provide improvements
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills.
- Capable of working in an agile environment
