Sounds great, what will I be doing? šŸ¤”

As ourĀ Product AnalystĀ youā€™llĀ contribute to our Product Operationā€™s team mission to help the teams responsible for product innovation at GWI do their best work, with the right tools, data and insights. Weā€™re looking for someone passionate about big data to help us solve more problems faster. Whether itā€™s providing insightful reports to our product leaders, identifying patterns and anomalies to help define key areas of improvement or detecting improvement points in our current data models, itā€™s a position that is all about finding and surfacing value to fuel our decisions. Ideally, you will have a strong data analysis background but youā€™ve also sharpened your project management and communication skills, managing business relationships, coordinating people and learning about the needs of our stakeholders..

Itā€™s also fun; shaking things up is what working for a growing company is all about. So youā€™ll need to be flexible, comfortable with continuous change, and working in a high-tempo environment as we grow.

Ā

What do I need to bring with me? šŸ§³

Youā€™ll need to be able to demonstrate the core skills this role requires. You don't have to tick all the boxes right away; the important thing is that youā€™re willing to learn. Hereā€™s what the team will be looking for:

šŸ‘‰ Demonstrable experience working closely with product management and/or engineering teams, preferably in the SaaS space
šŸ‘‰ Proficiency in SQL and good knowledge of Python
šŸ‘‰ Knowledge of centralised data, Data Warehousing and basic knowledge of data modelling principles šŸ‘‰ Experience with data visualisation tools such as Mixpanel, Tableau, Power BI, or Looker šŸ‘‰ Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure, and tools such as Snowflake or BigQuery šŸ‘‰ Operational mindset seeking constant improvement and opportunities to simplify ways of working šŸ‘‰ Good stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical audience

Equally important is attitude. We want people who think big (to make an impact), ask why (to find a better way), and show respect (to everyone, at every level, all the time). Those are our values, exemplified by our leadership team, and theyā€™re a big part of what weā€™re looking for in you.

Ā

Interview steps šŸ‘Ÿ

šŸ‘‰ Preliminary phone call with the Talent Team (no video required) šŸ‘‰ First video interview with the hiring managersĀ  šŸ‘‰ Second (and final*) video interviewĀ with the hiring panel, often including a presentation, followed by a values conversation with members of the wider GWI community.

*Donā€™t be alarmed if there are other stages in the process, itā€™s all part of the plan for some of our roles.

Ā
