THE SECURITY LENDING STRATEGIST TEAM
We are a global team of strategists driving major business decisions in securities lending and financing by analyzing large data sets and building quantitative models. Areas of focus include inventory modeling and management, borrow/return strategies, locates, pricing and revenue optimization, risk hedging and optimization, capital and funding attribution and optimization.
While organized in different locations, we pride ourselves in our teamwork across the globe teams to find solutions that help our business thrive around the world. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Strong academic background in a quantitative field - mathematics, physics, engineering, computer science or statistics background.
- Strong programming skills in a modern programming language (eg, Python, JavaScript).
- Strong modeling skillsets with solid understanding of optimization theory, eg, linear programming, numerical methods, MCMC.
- Interest in data engineering and relevant infrastructure buildout, including data pipeline and database design.
- Ability and willingness to pick up new business or technical knowledge.
- Ability to work on multiple projects, demonstrate initiatives and deliver results quickly.
- Strong communication skills. Ability to drive outcomes in multi-constrained and ambiguous business context.
- Ability to solve technical problems and explain the underlying ideas to a non-technical audience.
- Knowledge of financial markets is preferred. Understanding of sec lending and one delta products is a plus.
