About the Position:

Reporting to the Head of Community Engineering, the Senior Developer Advocate will be Comet’s representative within the machine learning community. Our users are also our peers at Comet, and towards that end, our Community Engineering team is focused on participating within the ML community. This includes building and learning in public, hosting and attending conferences, contributing to open source projects, and more. As our lead advocate, you may be involved in projects like teaching a course with Andrew Ng and DeepLearningAI, speaking at conferences like ODSC, and interacting with thousands of ML practitioners on Twitter and LinkedIn. If you are someone who wants to develop your ML skills, participate in the community, and grow your own profile in the field, this might be the perfect opportunity for you.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and grow Comet’s social following across platforms
• Attend and host conferences/meetups in the ML community
• Build and promote ML projects/research to showcase Comet
• Assist developers and researchers as they build with Comet

Requirements:

• 2+ years of ML experience, preferably with LLMs
• Experience managing a large social following, either personally or on behalf of a business
• Experience writing for a technical audience
• An excitement for public-facing work. If social media or public speaking cause you anxiety, you might enjoy some of our other roles more
