Join Group Technology's Network Automation division, where you'll be at the forefront of data, AI, and automation strategy and architecture. As a Lead Architect for Network Data & AI, you will work closely with senior management, top experts and key stakeholders across the group, including the technology units in the DE and EU segments. Her role is to design, define and establish the architecture and roadmap for advanced AI and data-driven solutions for Deutsche Telekom's telecommunications networks. This role requires close alignment with strategic objectives and guidance of implementation in a high-performance approach to drive innovation. They are part of the team working to redesign the network through cutting-edge technologies and AI to ensure future-proof, sustainable and cost-efficient telecom operations and take Deutsche Telekom to the next level of applied innovation.
Tasks
- Define and drive the associated implementation of the strategic network-related data and AI architecture and roadmap
- Align focused AI initiatives with the respective governance bodies and key stakeholders in Deutsche Telekom's technology units at both the Group and national level
- Representing DT at international conferences and AI initiatives, where leading approaches are discussed with key industry players and research communities
- Lead and manage a cross-functional team of solution architects, data, and AI experts
- Identify future innovation topics and AI use cases to transform network and service lifecycles and make clear contributions to improved cost cases, revenue potential, improved customer experience, and overall resiliency and sustainability of telco production
- Ensure the scalability, security, and performance of telecom network AI solutions
- Collaborate with stakeholders to explore AI advancements for improved efficiency, automation, and customer experience, ensuring maximum scalability across the DT Group
Profile
They are characterized by the following knowledge and skills:
- 10+ years of experience in AI, data architecture, and telecommunications
- Proven expertise in the development of AI-driven solutions, especially for telecommunications networks. Strong leadership and team management skills with experience in leading solution teams
- Experience working with executives, especially CTIOs. In-depth knowledge of AI, machine learning, BI, big data technologies, data management, data mesh, data modeling techniques, and their applications in the network space. Proven experience building and leading solution architecture teams in various fields addressing data and AI business needs in network operations domains (RAN, Core, Transportation, etc.)
- Deep understanding of the architecture of telecommunications networks (e.g., 5G, SDN, NFV, IMS) and OSS/BSS systems.
- Knowledge of cloud-native architecture, containerization, and edge computing technologies for telecom applications.
- 10+ years of experience in dealing with partners and vendor solutions. Proven experience in application management and network operations. Strong strategic thinking, communication, and innovation-driven mindset Monitor external developments in science, research and analytics, vendors, start-ups, competitors, and standards development organizations (SDOs) to ensure the integration of cutting-edge technologies and best practices
