GenAI Product Owner

We are seeking an accomplished and visionary individual to join our GenAI unit as a Generative AI Product Owner at Danske Bank. In this role, you will lead a cross-functional team to further develop DanskeGPT (Danske Bank’s chatbot that uses Large Language Models) to help employees become more productive, knowledgeable, and accurate. You will connect the technical and business aspects of our GenAI platform, collaborating with full-stack developers, data engineers, data scientists, and various stakeholders to enhance the product vision and deliver comprehensive GenAI use cases throughout the group.

You will work closely with the management team to ensure releases align with our vision and strategic goals. As the GenAI Product Owner, you will ensure product increments and releases support the mid-to-long-term strategy and collaborate with program management to build and deliver the Product Roadmap and Vision.

You will communicate the product vision and strategy to teams and users while prioritizing and managing the product backlog with the development team to maintain alignment with strategic priorities.

You will:

• Set your squad vision, goals, success metrics, and completely own your squad roadmap in alignment with business priorities
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the group to ensure the platform is secure and compliant, by guiding use cases/features through the necessary risk management processes
• Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
• Develop product plans, manage the backlog, plan releases, and set expectations for the delivery of new functionalities
• Support the team by resolving obstacles that hinder their progress towards Release/Sprint Goals
• Analyze market trends to shape strategic product development plans
• Work with the communication teams to ensure a smooth roll-out of features
• Support user needs by engaging, observing, and responding to feedback

About you:

• At least 3 years of experience in roles such as Product Owner or Project Manager, delivering end-user technology, with a good technical background in software development
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Great interpersonal and communication skills to effectively manage diverse teams and stakeholders
• Experience in Machine Learning methods and frameworks, deployed on cloud environments with a focus on Generative AI and leveraging LLMs (e.g., GPT, Llama, or equivalent)
• A proven history of supporting all aspects of a product throughout its lifecycle
• An interest in staying up-to-date with technology trends, including knowledge of the current state of AI/ML, LLM, and generative AI
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Advanced English skills

We offer:

Monthly salary range from 5200 EUR to 7800 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
