Summary: The R&D Associate will contribute to a wide range of tasks to support internal product architects by evaluating new technologies, including AI, creating various documents, and conducting data analysis.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct research and evaluation of emerging technologies, including AI, to support product development initiatives.
• Collaborate with product architects to identify and implement innovative solutions.
• Analyze data and generate actionable insights to inform technology adoption and product strategies.
• Prepare detailed technical and analytical reports, summaries, and presentations.
• Create and maintain documentation for R&D activities, including research findings, methodologies, and results.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in AI and related technologies.
• Assist in the development and refinement of prototypes and proof-of-concept models.
• Support cross-functional teams by providing technical research and data-driven recommendations.

Qualifications:

Education / Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, engineering, data science, or a related discipline) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in research, data analysis, or a technology-focused role.
• Exposure to or experience with AI technologies and applications is highly desirable.

Fundamental Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in data analysis and interpretation.
• Familiarity with AI technologies, including machine learning frameworks and tools.
• Proficiency in creating clear and concise documentation and technical reports.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python or R is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Power platform tools and Entra ID is a plus.　
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
• Demonstrated ability to learn and quickly adapt to emerging tools, technologies, and methodologies in a fast-paced environment. 
• Professional fluency in Japanese and English (reading, writing, and speaking).

Salary: $65,000–$75,000 (Base Salary) + Profit Sharing, DOE
