Take the first step to joining our team by applying today and we look forward to seeing #UatInsurity. Insurity’s Next Data Product Owner We’re looking for a self-starter, someone who loves to learn and collaborate with others.  In this role, you’ll be working with several scrum teams and learning about Geospatial. In addition, you’ll be responsible for managing data product work, required data updates, supporting customers during onboarding and post-implementation as well as serving as our data subject matter expert.   What Our Data Product Owner Will Do  
  • Works closely with Product Manager to translate product vision, strategy, and roadmap to epics and stories delivered through sprints and releases
  • Lead product discovery, qualify technical data discovery
  • Produce documentation on how to enable data and when new data or updates are released
  • Build data benchmarking matrix. Be a data SME / sales support, including upsell of new or additional data
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure consensus on sprint priorities, planning and scope of proposed features and enhancements 
  • Track and general reports of customer’s usage of data. Billing and payments for 3rd party private data partners and clients alongside Finance
  • Produce materials to enable sales to start conversations related to Data. Build marketing materials and roadshows to promote data
  • Ensure solutions built by the scrum team align to stakeholder expectations
  • Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories
Who We’re Looking For  
  • Familiarity with XML/XLST, ESRI: GIS/ArcGIS, RESTful APIs, SQL, ACORD, ISO/NCCI, or other bureaus, database design, geospatial concepts
  • Recommended 2+ years as a GIS Analyst
  • Recommended: Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant work experience
  • Experience using scaled agile development framework and environments
  • Analytical and critical thinking, data-driven
  • Strong operational mindset, decisive, “get it done” mentality
  • Excellent written and oral English communication skills
  • Time management including work planning, prioritization, and organization
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities or tasks
