Job Description

We are searching for an experienced and results-driven Marketing Analyst to be a strategic partner to our Campaign Marketing leadership. The ideal candidate will excel at leveraging data to generate insights and inform strategy.  They will have a proven track record in tracking KPIs, analyzing event data, and calculating ROI. This role requires a fresh perspective to collaborate with cross-functional leadership in planning and measuring marketing campaign performance at both individual and aggregate levels.

The Integrated Marketing Analyst will play a key role in helping Zendesk achieve its pipeline and revenue targets by partnering with senior marketing leadership to identify strategic growth opportunities and enhance operational efficiency. They will utilize data to assist leadership in managing the business and evaluating the effectiveness of global and regional campaigns, with a strong emphasis on ROI. Additionally, the analyst will facilitate planning processes, such as developing growth strategies and setting metric targets, in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.

The ideal candidate should possess a curious mindset, strong critical thinking abilities, and excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive key business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with stakeholder leadership to improve and optimize metrics, guaranteeing the provision of actionable insights and opportunities for growth

  • Lead data deep dives to evaluate global marketing campaigns against historical and industry best practices, helping campaign owners understand performance

  • Assist marketing leadership in making informed investment decisions to optimize regional and global event calendar

  • Utilizing marketing analytics and intelligence tools to monitor and assess account engagement and ROI as part of an Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategy 

  • Establish strong working relationships with peers in other Marketing teams and collaborative partners (marketing operations, sales leadership, finance, and management) to achieve cross functional objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.

  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in marketing analytics or business intelligence, ideally within the SaaS industry.

  • Technical Skills: Proficient in data analysis tools and platforms, including Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, SQL, Excel, and data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

  • Analytical Expertise: Demonstrated strong analytical skills with the ability to convert complex data sets into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.

  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, capable of articulating technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement.

The US annualized base salary range for this position is $103,000.00-$155,000.00. This position may also be eligible for bonus, benefits, or related incentives. While this range reflects the minimum and maximum value for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations, the offer for the successful candidate for this position will be based on job related capabilities, applicable experience, and other factors such as work location. Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only (or OTE for commissions based roles), and do not include bonus, benefits, or related incentives.
