10The Team: Our team’s mission is “we govern data and controls to deliver high-quality, reliable, and secure commercial data that empowers our people to make informed, data-driven decisions.” The team consists of highly trained and motivated professionals on our tools, processes, and workflows who strive to deliver superior client experience and includes overseeing every aspect of the data lifecycle: creating, preparing, using, storing, archiving, and deleting data, by an organization’s established data governance principles for promoting data quality and integrity. You will closely coordinate with teams such as CRM Operations AKA MI Enablement, Order Management, Fulfillment, Marketing, Divisional, and Corporate Finance teams, and our Digital Technology Services teams to ensure effective data management and governance for all Commercial data.
The Impact: MI Commercial data is used by divisional and corporate Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Analytics teams to service both internal and external customers. It is extremely important that our Master, Reference, and Transactional data is timely and accurate. This role will be primarily responsible for deeply understanding the Salesforce data architecture and leading the development of complex reports for the team. This role will also work closely with Sales Analytics and Corporate Data/Analytics teams on strategic data and analytics initiatives. Long-term this role will be expected to be the thought leader for data engineering and analytics initiatives related to MI Salesforce. This role will also be expected to specialize in a lot of the data correction workflows, at least initially, to make sure they understand the E2E processes and data. More broadly you will be part of the Customer & Growth Office so everything you do will have a direct impact on the division’s sales performance.

Responsibilities:
- Develop an understanding of and become a thought leader in data technologies, especially around data de-duplication and ETL, to help automate and improve data cleansing workflows.
- Collaborate closely with Sales Analytics and other divisional and corporate analytics/data teams on different data architecture and engineering initiatives.
- Support M&A initiatives through close collaboration with functional and CRM technology teams.
- Work with team SME group to build capabilities to help execute integration activities at scale.
- Responsible for a deep understanding of Salesforce data architecture and leading the development of complex reports for the team.
- Spearhead the creation of transparency by developing data-quality dashboards and reports.
- Support strategic projects as an SME for Salesforce Opp to Cash value chain to identify and help fix data discrepancies unblocking project teams.
- Work on projects to improve data governance and data security, mitigate risks, and implement compliance practices.
- Participate in the optimization and simplify use of Salesforce object pages for teams across the commercial organization.
- This role will also work closely with the reporting and strategy teams to identify opportunities to build data products that help propel the business forward.

Basic Qualifications:
- Must have a bachelor’s degree
- 3 to 4 years of working experience with CRM technologies like Salesforce.com and SAP.
- 1-2 years or experience with visualization tools like PowerBI.
- Knowledge of statistical concepts with quantitative and qualitative analysis ability will be helpful.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel knowledge (complex formulas, pivot tables, charting, power tools).
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Alteryx.
- Knowledge of tools like R or Python for data wrangling
- Knowledge of SQL is required and SOQL (salesforce object query language) and data warehouse experience are also preferred.
- Ability to lead by influence, working closely, and leveraging diverse skills within the team.
- Mindset to coach other team members to deliver their best and celebrate their wins.
- Ability to work independently and as a fully contributing team member.
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Flexibility in UK hours.
