Proteomics Bioinformatics Summer Intern

We are seeking masters or PhD level students majoring in Computational biology; Bioinformatics; Biostatistics; Computer Science, or related field, for a 10-Week Student Intern role in Waltham, MA for a June 2nd - August 8th contract period.

Position Duties:

• Develop a web app to facilitate workflow to analyze the proteomics data and visualize the analyzed proteomics data interactively.
• Support the proteomics drug projects.
• Conduct research to bring novel technology and methods for proteomics data analysis.
• Additional responsibilities will include collaborating with a cross functional team and presenting in team meetings.

Position Requirements:

• Masters or PhD level students majoring in Computational biology; Bioinformatics; Biostatistics; Computer Science, or related field. **Candidates must have an expected graduation date after August 2025.
• Coding skills in R and/or Python is required.
• An understanding of basic molecular biology with skills of analyzing quantitative proteomics/transcriptomics are preferred.
• Working understanding of statistics, working with APIs, developing RShiny app, Dash app, or Streamlit app are a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
• Enthusiasm for collaboration, cross-functional projects, public speaking, and presentation design.
• US Work Authorization is required at time of application. This role will not be providing OPT support.
• Ability to report onsite to Waltham, MA five days a week. This role will not provide relocation assistance.
• Minimum grade point average of 3.0.
