Job Description
Our newly created, internal Search Team focuses on bringing the ABOUT YOU Search to the next level, by building a scalable and performance-driven search product, which meets the evolving needs of our customers to improve user experience and increase success metrics.
We are looking for an Analyst (m/f/d) to be part of the development of our Search Team. The Analyst will support the team with search performance analysis & trend insights (monitoring & reporting), deliver data-driven recommendations to improve search relevance, and increase team efficiency by introducing automation processes.
What you will do
- Work closely with product managers, developers, and other teams: Act as a bridge between the data and product teams, ensuring alignment on search goals and priorities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand product objectives, identify key performance indicators (KPIs), and translate them into measurable goals for search performance
- Develop and maintain tracking systems, dashboards, and tools to monitor search performance, user behavior, and trends. Continuously analyze data and update relevant dashboards to ensure that product managers have timely access to search performance data
- Analyze user queries, search success rates, and click-through data to improve search relevance and ranking algorithms
- Provide insights to Product Managers on user interaction with the search function, highlighting areas where the user journey can be optimized for efficiency and satisfaction
- Identify areas where data processes can be automated or streamlined to increase team efficiency
- Work with developers to introduce automated testing and QA processes to ensure the accuracy and quality of search-related features
Who you are
- Medior or Senior level experience
- Proficiency in SQL (Python knowledge is a plus)
- Experience with tracking data (GA4 knowledge is a plus)
- Familiarity with version control software and data warehouses (e.g., GitLab, Google BigQuery, or similar)
- Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker Studio or similar)
- Experience in data mining and cleaning
- Knowledge of user behavior analysis and visualization techniques
- Ability to work and drive topics independently
- Strong analytical thinking, passion for working with numbers, and ability to develop data-driven solutions
- Excellent communication skills to present complex analytical findings clearly and effectively
- Self-driven, motivated, and well-organized
