The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst Lead who excels in both technical and business domains. As a senior member of the team, you will leverage your expertise to drive data-driven solutions, collaborating closely with stakeholders to solve complex business challenges. A strong understanding of the modern data stack is essential, as well as exceptional written and verbal communication skills to clearly convey insights and strategies across all levels of the organization.

Requirements

  • Perform advanced analysis: use trend analysis, segmentation and statistical methods to understand our data, generate insights and solve business problems
  • Form strong relationships with stakeholders across YouLend - strong relationships and deep understanding of the business context lead to high-velocity problem solving
  • Communicate findings through dashboards, graphics, verbal explanation, presentations and technical write-ups
  • Set the standard for high-quality analysis at YouLend - both in technical skill and writing style. This will include mentoring more junior team members
  • Make analyses repeatable and sharable by making use of version control, notebooks and widely-accessible write-ups

Essential:

  • SQL for interacting with our Data Warehouse
  • Python for analysis and visualisation
  • Data visualisation tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
  • Problem-solving & critical thinking

Desirable:

  • dbt for data modelling
  • Advanced dashboarding skills
  • Project management
