Job Description
Data Integration:
- Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines for efficient data integration across various sources.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data flow and integration.
Data modelling and warehousing:
- Contribute to the design and implementation of data models and data warehouses.
- Work on optimizing database performance and ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
ETL Development:
- Develop and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data into the data warehouse.
- Troubleshoot and optimize ETL workflows for performance and reliability.
Data Quality and Governance:
- Implement data quality checks and ensure adherence to data governance policies.
- Collaborate with data stewards to address data quality issues and maintain data integrity.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
- Collaborate with the broader technology team to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
Continuous Learning:
- Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering.
- Actively participate in professional development opportunities and training programs.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of practical experience in data engineering or a related role.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and database technologies.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
