TEAMThe mission of the Driver & Passenger recognition development team (DPR) is to create next generation algorithms estimating the driver, passengers and in-cabin states for autonomous or semi-autonomous cars. The algorithms are mainly based on the image processing technology such as machine learning or deep learning. The field of target application is quite large from research phase to mass production phase.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?We are looking for a data management engineer who leads our team members in collecting and managing data of cameras, sensors and others, which is the basis for the software development of driver & passenger recognition. You are responsible for leading the design of data collection especially in terms of quantity and quality and promoting data-driven development by agile cycle to enhance driver & passenger recognition software development. You are also expected to make a plan of data collection with high value and to execute it as a team by coordinating with other related parties and analyzing their various requests.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Construct data collection environments such as test vehicles and a driving simulator
- Collect and manage drivers and passengers data
- Lead team members to drive data collection and data management
- Make a plan of data lifecycle and propose advanced data collection and management systems for future
- Improve data quality and productivity in data collection process
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 + years experience collecting/managing/testing data
- Experience collecting human data
- Experience leading team members and driving projects
- Knowledge of human factors/mechanical engineering/electronic electrical engineering/computer vision
- Bachelor's or higher degree or equivalent education background
- Intermediate Level English and Business Level Japanese
NICE TO HAVES:
- Experience constructing data collection environment (e.g. driving simulator, test vehicle )
- Experience analyzing data and developing softwares to measure data
- Experience of software development using AWS (lambda, EC2, S3, database, boto3, etc)
- Knowledge of rules of handling personal information
- Experience improving existing environment by introducing new technologies (e.g. AI-based tools )
- Experience validating software
