Sr. Software Developer

Why This Role Exists

The Sr. Software Developer role is critical to Mahway’s mission of launching multiple high-growth companies throughout the technological landscape. You will work across Mahway’s portfolio of companies to establish a quick-turnaround development pipeline, allowing Mahway to support and grow new startups. Your technical expertise, combined with the ability to leverage AI tools like Copilot and ChatGPT, will enable Mahway’s portfolio companies to bring new products to market while maintaining high-quality standards rapidly. We are looking for someone to join the team on a contract basis for 10-15 hours a week, with the intent to convert to a full-time role with Mahway.

Required Experience

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent.

• At least 5 years of professional development experience.

• Proven experience in using AI-driven coding tools (e.g., GitHub Co-Pilot, ChatGPT) for enhanced efficiency.

• Demonstrable experience with AI-related side projects or innovations in coding processes.

• Programming Languages and Frameworks: Experience with languages like Python, JavaScript, and Rust, along with frameworks such as React, Angular, and Django.

Outcomes

• Actively support development across multiple portfolio companies, ensuring smooth progress and consistent quality.

• Build and release multiple MVPs (Minimum Viable Products) for various portfolio companies.

• Successfully manage and complete multiple small-scale projects, ensuring on-time delivery.

Hard Skills

• Proven expertise with AI-driven tools for coding efficiency (e.g., GitHub, Co-Pilot, ChatGPT).

• Strong knowledge of relevant frameworks and coding languages.

• Experience with version control systems like Git, with a disciplined approach to project documentation.

• Familiarity with CI/CD processes, ensuring smooth deployment pipelines.

Soft Skills
