Our OCI AI Cloud Services are redefining how enterprises integrate AI and machine learning into their applications. You’ll contribute to cutting-edge cloud services in computer vision, NLP,  AND speech. You'll help build AI solutions that work out of the box and enable enterprises to customize and enhance models for their specific needs.

What You'll Do:

• Develop scalable infrastructure, including microservices and backend systems, for automating the training and deployment of machine learning models.
• Build core AI services, such as Vision, Speech, Language, and more.
• Design and implement Proof of Concepts (POCs) using AI Perpetual AI Services to address enterprise-specific challenges.
• Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to build infrastructure, addressing both internal and external product requirements.
• Lead R&D efforts to explore new tools, frameworks, and methodologies to improve backend development.
• Experiment with machine learning models in Python using libraries like Pytorch, TensorFlow, Jax, as well as BigData technologies like Hadoop, HBase, Spark, etc.
• Leverage cloud technologies such as Oracle Cloud (OCI), AWS, GCP, Azure, or similar platforms.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or equivalent experience (preferred) in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Operations Research, or a related field.
• 6+ years for Master's, or demonstrated experience in designing, implementing, and deploying machine learning models in production.
• Practical experience designing and deploying distributed systems using microservices architecture and APIs with frameworks like Spring Boot (Java).
• Experience working in a cloud environment: Oracle Cloud (OCI), AWS, GCP, Azure, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of machine learning techniques, statistical models, and performance tuning.
• Expertise in at least one high-level language (Java preferred) and one scripting language (Python preferred).
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience or willingness to work in Agile and DevOps processes.
• A passion for learning and mastering new technologies.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud-native frameworks, tools, and products.
• Experience in computer vision tasks (e.g., image classification, object detection, text recognition, document analysis).
• Contributions to GitHub projects or open-source technologies.
• Hands-on experience with horizontally scalable data stores such as Hadoop or NoSQL technologies like Cassandra.
