Data Scientist - Intermediate

What you will do

• Utilize combined knowledge of data structures, analytics, algorithms/models, and strong computer science fundamentals to prepare datasets, conduct analytics, and develop deployable solutions

• Able to analyze and prepare complex and new data sources and incorporate them into analytical solutions.

• Works on moderate complexity tasks in problems often within multiple business or analytical domains,  collaborating with other teams to develop predictive models, risk assessments, fraud detection, recommendation engines, etc.

• Package, summarize and visualize analytical findings and results for management

• Develop and deploy AI and ML solutions on Google Cloud Platforms

• Invent and integrate data and model visualizations for big data machine learning models

What experience you need

• B.S. or higher degree required in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Operations Research, or Industrial Engineering with a focus on machine learning coursework

• 2+ years of experience (or education) in a related analytical field

• Python and SQL coding skills

• Master’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Computer Science , Engineering, Operations Research, Statistics or other related discipline a definite plus

• Cloud experience using GCP

• Experience with BigQuery, BigQuery ML, Vertex AI, Google Cloud Storage, Apache Airflow

• Experience with Neural Networks, Gradient Boosted Machines, and Random Forests algorithms

• Experience with NLP or Unstructured Data
