Job Title: Power BI / SSRS Developer
Location: Columbus, GA

Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Power BI / SSRS Developer to join our team in Columbus, GA. In this role, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and implementing Power BI reports and dashboards that drive business insights and improve data-driven decision-making. You’ll play a critical role in establishing best practices, governance, and the overall strategy for our Power BI environment, helping advance the maturity of our data visualization capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Report and Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to align with business objectives.
• Standards and Governance: Establish and enforce rules, standards, and best practices for Power BI development and utilization.
• Strategic Leadership: Lead initiatives to shape and evolve the Power BI platform strategy, enhancing the organization’s data visualization maturity.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams across the organization to integrate data sources and ensure reliable, accessible data delivery.
• User Support and Training: Provide guidance and support to end-users on Power BI tools, promoting reporting capabilities and self-service analytics.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Power BI Expertise: Proven experience in creating and managing Power BI reports, dashboards, and data sets.
• SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services): Skilled in designing, developing, and deploying SSRS reports.
• Microsoft Office Suite: Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and other Microsoft Office tools.
• UI/UX in Data Visualization: Strong focus on user interface and experience, ensuring intuitive and impactful data visualizations.
• Data Governance: Ability to define and maintain standards for data quality, security, and governance within Power BI.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• ITAR-Compliance Familiarity: Experience working in ITAR-regulated environments.
• Data Modeling: Familiarity with SQL, DAX, or other data querying and modeling languages.
• Industry Background: Experience in Aerospace, Defense, or other high-security sectors.

Additional Requirements:

• US Citizenship or Green Card Holder: Due to ITAR restrictions, applicants must be either U.S. citizens or Green Card holders.
