Researcher into image processing and abnormality detection (LiverColor)

Description

A research staff position with an indefinite contract is called for the realization of scientific and technical activities, for the execution of the LiverColor research line: image processing and abnormality detection, in accordance with article 23 bis of Law 14/2011, of June 1, on science, technology and innovation.

Project or projects that finance the recruitment: 2023 PROD 00061-LiverColor: an AI tool to assess hepatic steatosis. Functional prototype ready to go for clinical validation

Job duties:

Run validation tests to verify that the different components of the software and the prototype work correctly and in accordance with the expected functional requirements in their context of use.

Collect feedback from users and other stakeholders

Optimize and adjust the prototype based on feedback and validation test results.

Qualifications

Requirements that candidates must meet

GENERAL

a) Be in possession of the Doctor's degree

b) Not having been separated by means of a disciplinary file from the service of any of the public administrations, nor having been disqualified by a final judgment for the performance of public functions. In the case of being a national of another State, not being disqualified or in an equivalent situation or having been subjected to a disciplinary or equivalent sanction that prevents, in your State, in the same terms, access to public jobs .

SPECIFIC

Proficiency in English

Fluency in Catalan or Spanish

Experience in image processing

Experience in machine learning and deep learning techniques

Python programming experience

Knowledge of software engineering

Immediate availability to start working
