Our challenge
As a SQL Power BI Engineer, Candidate will collaborate with stakeholders across the business to work on complex technical requirements. Candidate will be responsible for managing multiple engagements, prioritize and resolve complex problems and escalate as necessary, in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Information*
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $90k - $95/year & benefits (see below).
The Role
Responsibilities:
- Configure and provide ongoing support for reconciliations in the FIS Intellimatch / Data Integrity Manager applications.
- Develop and manage complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers in MS SQL Server.
- Create and manage reports and subscriptions within Power BI to facilitate data visualization and insights.
- Analyze large datasets for testing and regression purposes, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Document procedures, requirements, and testing efforts to maintain clear and comprehensive records.
- Collaborate with development, operations, reconciliation, and project teams to prioritize and implement project requirements effectively.
- Provide production support for reconciliation applications, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
Requirements:
You are:
- Proven experience working in an Agile environment.
- Mandatory previous experience with reconciliation products such as FIS Intellimatch / Data Integrity Manager.
- Strong background in reconciliation processes and financial data management.
- Proficient in MS SQL Server, including complex database queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with data visualization tools, specifically Power BI.
- Excellent documentation skills for procedures, requirements, and testing efforts.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are met.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership over assigned tasks.
- Experience in production support, particularly with reconciliation applications, is preferred.
