​Roles & Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements, operating business rules, data, and underlying processes to communicate results to business. Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders at various levels of the organization
• Provide Incentive Compensation analytics support to business on various high complex and sensitive sales force Incentive Operations (Plan Design, Goal Setting, IC administration, and IC reporting)
• Executing data cleaning, rearranging tasks, and setting up validation processes throughout the IC process
• Facilitating data enabled decision making for business by providing and communicating insights & recommendations based on qualitative and quantitative analytics.
• Understand Pharma commercial data sets like DDD, NPA, NSP, APLD, Rx, SP, SD, Call activity, internal CRM etc. and can triangulate data from multiple sources that drives commercial effectiveness.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders for day-to-day project activities. Collaborate with vendor/partner teams as required
• Collaborate with matrix partners, including IT to develop & enhance data, data pipelines & analytical tools for efficient data collection, processing and analysis
• Build and maintain process assets (SOPs, Checklists, BRDs, Process Maps etc) and establish best practices
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in biopharma
• Provide training, guidance, and mentorship to junior analysts and team members.
• Manage multiple workstreams with varying priorities and deadlines; help junior members prioritize work accordingly to deliver timely and high-quality work

​Skills and competencies

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets and draw meaningful conclusions
• Strong SQL, Excel, MS-Office skills (PowerPoint). Having python knowledge is plus
• Expertise in data analysis, interpretation, and visualization to derive actionable insights from complex datasets.
• Strong project management skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Should be able to mentor, coach team of 1-3 members and take full accountability of their growth
• Understanding of digital analytics tools and platforms (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI)
• Familiarity with the biopharma industry, including knowledge of relevant data sources and KPIs
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex information to non-technical stakeholders in a clear manner
• Strong business acumen, and strategic thinking capabilities. Ability to translate analytical findings into actionable insights, and recommendations

​Experience & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related discipline.
• 3-5 years experience in a similar Data Analyst role in biopharma or biopharma consulting for Incentive Compensation
• Experience in working with real-world data (including clinical and healthcare), large datasets (SQL, R, Python), data visualization tools (Microstrategy, Tableau, Spotfire, etc).
• Certification or training in relevant analytics or business intelligence tools is a plus.
• Experience in other commercial strategy and operations processes like Targeting, Segmentation, Sales force Sizing & Structuring, Call Planning, Territory Alignment, Field Reporting etc. will be added advantage.
