The Analog Garage: Located in the heart of downtown Boston, the Analog Garage is ADI’s Research and Advanced Development Center, empowering the company by pioneering breakthrough technologies. The Algorithmic Solutions Group within the Analog Garage researches and develops cutting-edge, efficient algorithms to convert data into intelligence that addresses society’s most pressing challenges. The team’s expertise spans fields such as signal processing, machine learning, artificial intelligence, computer vision, computational linguistics, communication systems, robotics, and other areas of electrical engineering and computer science.

Internship Opportunity:

Transform Autonomy with Innovative Algorithms and Hardware We are looking for interns to work with us to develop, implement and test advanced methods in the autonomy and intelligence areas, with a focus on Robotics and Machine Design. What You’ll Do: The activities will be adapted to the candidate abilities and will include some or all of the following:

- Innovate: Create novel robotics algorithms specialized for applications relevant to Analog Devices

- Develop: Design robotic components (mechanical or electronic) using CAD tools

- Collaborate: Work alongside a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers to deploy robotics algorithms on hardware and collecting data from experiments

- Communicate: Document and present your research.

Qualifications: Candidates must be pursuing a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Only candidates graduating in 2025 or 2026 will be considered, with the possibility of a return offer upon completion of the internship.

Candidates should have a strong background in one or more of the following areas: mechanical engineering, robotics, machine design, computer vision, signal processing, communication systems, machine learning, algorithm development, or software development.
