Role: Principal Consultant / Engagement Manager (Overall offshore client relationship manager with the client) 

Location: Bangalore

Description: Looking for analytics professional with 15+ years of experience, excelling in strategic planning for managing technology and business operations. 

Primary skills: DIGITAL ANALYTICS|MARKETING INTELLIGENCE | DATA SCIENCE & MACHINE LEARNING | DATA ENGINEERING 

Responsibilities: 

  • Professional brilliance in developing and implementing digital transformation strategy across the organization's functions and provide the culture, capacity and capabilities needed to make this happen. 

  • Proven track record of defining and executing the data analytics roadmap, tracking metrics, rigor in analytics approach, building review mechanisms, and providing business insights to meet aggressive revenue goals. 

  • Extensive experience in driving end to end measurement programs and campaigns including measuring effectiveness (ex. Marketing Mix Models, causal inference, experimentation design), ROI and Efficiency. 

  • Plan and drive implementation of business strategies, including forecasting, budgeting budget allocation and optimization, and digitalization initiatives. 

  • Well versed with Adobe Marketing Cloud platform to understand customer journeys and obtain deep consumer insight, understand impact of marketing campaigns, and managing content to enable a seamless and integrated customer experience. 

  • Extensive hands-on experience with complex, multi-dimensional high volume data sets, AI/ML models on structured and unstructured data, and strong foundations in statistics and modeling.  

  • Deep expertise in managing cross-cultural teams at heavily matrixed and globally distributed organizations, largely operating in complex business environments. 

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet objectives and key deadlines  

  • Outstanding ability to communicate to both technical and non-technical audiences, translating complex data into crisp insights, actions and recommendations; ability to influence business decisions at the leadership level. 

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and end-to-end quantitative thinking  

 

Skillsets:  

  • Highly proficient in SQL, Tableau and Excel, with strong experience in Digital Analytics tools: Adobe Analytics (Omniture), Adobe Launch - both implementation & reporting 

  • Statistical Analysis Tools: R or Python 

  • Predictive/Machine Learning Models: Experiment Design, Causal Inference, Time Series, Marketing Mix Models, Bayesian Distributions, Regression, Decision Trees, Propensity models, SVMs 

  • Foundational understanding of Digital Marketing programs not limited to SEO, PPC, Programmatic Display/Video, Social and Affiliates.   

  • Strong understanding of eCommerce fundamentals and drivers of Traffic, Conversion and Revenue.   

  • Cloud Platforms/ Infrastructure: AWS/GCP/Azure – preferably AWS + Snowflake, Singlestore etc. 

  • Experience with Online Retail/ Ecommerce, Technology companies highly preferred. 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Economics, Finance, Advanced Analytics, or related field. Master’s Degree preferred  

  • 11+ years of experience with extensive experience leading team sizes of 10+ 

How You Will Lead  

  • Drive Business strategy: You will provide recommendations utilizing multiple types of data, business knowledge, and strategic assumptions when data doesn’t exist. You will be critical to decision-enablement across global teams.  

  • Identifying opportunities and influencing partners to act: You will partner with eCommerce and Digital Marketing leaders to provide key marketing insights and influence strategic decisions. You will collaborate with stakeholders and analysts to ensure reporting solutions are scalable, repeatable, effective, and meet expectations of various leaders  

  • Connect the Dots:  Using multitude of data source, you will connect the dots across multiple problems to see the larger picture that helps shape analyses and findings that drive longer term solutions than just answering short term questions  

  • Be the Analytics Translator: You will define, implement and standardize metrics, reports and dashboards whilst focusing on the insights. You will support teams across Web Analytics, Marketing and Business Planning, Data Science, Digital and Data Engineering, to bring rigor and robustness in approach and translate them into meaningful insights, tools and value for the Business  

  • Cultivate a Test and Learn culture:  Build out a constant stream of Testing and experimentation by identifying opportunities and influencing key stakeholders, whilst using the learnings into forward looking planning applications.
