Data Management Business Analyst/Project Manager, VP

Team/Role Overview

The Markets Operations Transformation team has been formed to support stakeholders both within Operations and across the bank, to design and deliver this multi-year transformation roadmap. Our transformation is underpinned by strategy, investment, change execution and a market-leading operations change delivery team focusing on programme and project management, business analysis, process re-engineering, low code application development and PMO.

The team is currently recruiting for a Data Management BA/Project Manager at Vice President level to take a lead role as part of the Markets Operations Transformation team. The candidate will support Operations Markets team to put in place both put in place our Data Governance model as well manage our Data Analytics strategy across our teams.  The role requires a good understanding of Markets products, Data Analytics and Business Intelligence.

Initial functional scope of this role will include all Data Governance functions for Markets Operations but may be subject to change as a result of business priorities, programme budgets and overall transformation priorities.

What you will do

• Support the strategic direction, development and implementation of data quality procedures, policies and controls to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data across all systems and processes.
• Implement data governance model for Markets Ops, ensuring raising and managing Data
• Partner with Markets Ops team to assess data concepts and Critical Data elements
• Identify and raise DCRMs, partnering with Technology,  Markets Data Stewards and the Markets Business to ensure remediation
• Demonstrated experience in delivering change in a collaborative, agile team environment as well as more standard frameworks
• Ability to monitor tight deadlines, or unexpected requirement changes
• Demonstrated ability to lead, plan, organise and prioritize work within a delivery framework
• Strong collaboration, communication and coaching skills
• Excellent client servicing and presentation skills
• Strong ability to establish, build and maintain strong effective working relationships at all levels of the organization
• Knowledge of modern technology, architecture and infrastructure
• Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of virtual teams to deliver on strategic outcomes
• Works with Operations stakeholders and builds and manages relationships.
• Works with stakeholders to ensure program scope definition meets operations objective, ensuring requirements are clearly documented are strategic and are well understood by all stakeholders and Technology.
• Support the Operations line team with their test preparation and execution and
• Leads the identification and drives resolution of issues, including those outside of the immediate workstream within their remit.
• Drives adherence to program processes, procedures, methods, and standards for program delivery as defined by Citi PM standards.

What we will need from you

• Prior relevant experience
• Demonstrate a consistent track record having worked with Transformation as a Business Analyst, Project Manager managing teams and delivery on large, strategic cross-functional projects.
• Strong working knowledge of Global Markets and Global Markets Operations
• Prior Data Analytics and / or Governance experience a plus
