We strive to transform smart electric vehicles with technology and data, shaping the mobility experience of the future.   We seek entry level algorithms engineers with strong system design skills. In this role, you will contribute to a map-less self-driving product for driving / parking in urban environments. You will research and develop state of the art core CV/ML algorithms for ego-localization and static environment modeling and tracking using transformer based BEV nets and occupancy tracking. The solutions are actively deployed in multiple car models. Software design and code quality are very important in this role. Experience in building, training and deploying production quality transformer based learning models is an added plus.   You will work with cross functional research and development teams in a rapidly paced environment. Your work will ensure that we deliver the most reliable mass market autonomous driving solution.   Job Responsibilities:
  • Research and develop algorithms for ego pose tracking and static environment tracking using semantic features from cameras, lidar, inertial and other sensors.
  • Collaborate with AI model team to build 3D perception pipeline.
  • Work closely with cross functional team for rapid execution on target platforms.
  Skill Requirements:
  • Ph.D in EE, CS or related field. Open to fresh graduates.
  • Solid background in computer vision, image processing, 3D geometry, estimation, non-linear optimization
  • Proficient in Python and C++
  • Familiar with one machine learning development framework such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, MXNet.
  • Hands on experience in one of the following: visual odometry, camera calibration, 3D reconstruction, maps
  • Strong mathematical foundation
  • Strong will to research, develop, and apply deep learning algorithms to new problems

  The base salary range for this full-time position is $120,000-$190,000, in addition to bonus, equity and benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.
