WSP is currently initiating a search for a Full-Time Manager, People Analytics.  The position can be based in any major WSP USA office. Your Impact
As a Manager on the People Analytics/HRIS team, you must be eager to solve problems, have a strong interest in gleaning insights from analysis and the ability to influence decisions made by WSP leadership. Additionally, you should be able to handle multiple high-impact projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing front-end data visualization solutions and data exploration tools that empower stakeholders across the organization to make data-driven decisions. You will be the subject matter expert for HRIS systems, collaborating closely with HR, IT, and other departments to translate complex HR data into actionable insights.

Data Visualization and Analytics:
•    Maintain existing dashboards, including People and Culture and Talent Acquisition daily reports. 
•    Manage access to HRIS reports, ensuring content is limited and secure.
•    Lead the design and development of user-friendly, interactive front-end data visualizations, dashboards, and reporting tools to display HR data in a meaningful way.
•    Develop and optimize HRIS data exploration capabilities, enabling stakeholders to explore and analyze HR metrics with ease.
•    Work with HR leadership and department heads to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and relevant metrics for reporting.
•    Ensure that data visualizations and dashboards are aligned with business goals, and are easily accessible and actionable for users across the organization.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
•    Analyze large datasets and HRIS reports to provide insights into workforce trends, compensation analysis, turnover, diversity metrics, and other relevant HR functions.
•    Translate complex HR data into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership and HR partners.
•    Facilitate and action regular executive and global data request inclusive of data to Finance, and Quarterly People and Culture data for Global Team.  
•    Develop automated reporting tools and workflows to streamline HR data analysis.
•    Quickly respond to a variety of ad-hoc reporting requests from across the organization.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
•    Partner with HR, IT, and business leaders to understand reporting and data needs, and translate those needs into technical specifications and solutions.
•    Provide training and support to HR users on how to access and interpret data visualizations and reports.
•    Serve as a point of contact for HR and business stakeholders seeking insights from HR data.
•    Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
Team Leadership:
•    Lead and manage a team of HRIS Analysts, ensuring alignment with departmental goals and providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities.
•    Oversee the team’s day-to-day operations, prioritizing tasks, managing workloads, and ensuring timely project delivery.
•    Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture focused on high-quality data-driven solutions. 
Continuous Improvement:
•    Continuously assess and improve HRIS data visualization solutions and processes, identifying opportunities for optimization, automation, and increased efficiency.
•    Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to data visualization, HRIS systems, and business intelligence tools.

Who You Are
Required Qualifications
•    Minimum of seven (7) years working with HRIS platforms, with at least 1 years in a leadership or team lead role. 
•    Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Data Science, related field and/or the equivalent relevant work experience.
•    Proven experience in designing and developing data visualization solutions and dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
•    Strong understanding of HR data structures and business processes (e.g., HR metrics, talent acquisition, employee lifecycle data).
•    Experience in report writing and analytics.
•    Experience with Agile/scrum methodology.
•    Advanced applied knowledge of MS Power Query, MS Power Platform and/or Power BI. 
•    Attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
•    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex data insights clearly. 
•    Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
•    Able to manage multiple projects and priorities, including day-to-day administrative reporting, data extracts for vendors and support services with time-sensitive deadlines.
•    Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications
•    Master’s degree in relevant field of study. 
•    Certifications in HRIS systems, data analysis, or business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
•    Experience with data modeling techniques, including star schema design.
•    Proficiency in SQL and database management.
•    Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools.
•    Ability to work with large datasets and optimize query performance.
•    Some experience using Python, R, Alteryx.

Compensation
Expected Salary (all locations): $86,700 - $154,330
WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.

Expected Salary (Colorado only): $86,700 - $144,870

WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position within the state of Colorado, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.
