The Commerce Data Specialist is part of the Global D&T Data Management and works on data-driven initiatives, ensuring interaction between well-functioning data management processes and technology, to maximize the value of data activities of key global programs and ensuring data quality and compliance. They are able to understand internal stakeholders’ needs and ensure they are converted into relevant solutions, governance and a delivery model in line with the overall D&T and solution roadmaps.

Your responsibilities would include:
 

• discussing, collecting and consolidating business requirements, and policies with global programs
• translating business requirements into data requirements
• defining the target state and plan to achieve it
• assisting with data compliance, governance processes and operating models
• providing technology and data support for business stakeholders, in collaboration with other D&T teams
• collaborating with several stakeholders involved in data audits: Data Audit team, Global Function/program involved, D&T teams and Opcos
• ensuring continuous improvement of the Data Readiness Toolkit and support usage by programs
• suggesting changes to existing data processes or contributing to developing new solutions as needed coordinating the preparation of data reports, training materials, business presentations, marketing collaterals, and other educational materials
• discussing, and collecting demand and ideas for data culture and educational initiatives
• developing plans to action to foster a data-driven mindset at HEINEKEN
• executing data culture plans, in collaboration with team members, other DM and D&T teams, and People Function.

You are a good candidate if you have:
 

• University BSc/ Business Degree / Data-related degree or related discipline
• 5+ years’ experience in a data-related role, understanding of data management
• knowledge of industry trends and demonstrated commitment to stay up to date on new technologies
• experience in establishing and operationalizing data management capabilities in large Consumer Goods global companies
• ability to build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with leaders across the business demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple simultaneous projects and deliverables
• broad understanding of data & analytics
• solution life cycle development, including Agile
• interest in data culture initiatives to foster a data-driven mindset
• good facilitation, presentation, and analysis skills
• Compliance & Governance knowledge/interest (e.g. processes, access management, data privacy and security)
• excellent communication skills (both verbal and in writing)
• ability to communicate well with technical and non-technical people
• being a business and technical consultant with a data-driven mindset
• recognizing the corporate strategy
• being a team player
• being able to identify and understand multiple stakeholder perspectives and bring an open mind to understanding and building on the views of others
• excellent written and verbal English.

You are a perfect candidate if you also have:
 

• background in FMCG industry
