The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Scientist with a minimum of 10 years of experience in Data Science and Machine Learning, preferably with experience in NLP, Generative AI, LLMs, MLOps, Optimization techniques, and AI solution Architecture. In this role, you will play a key role in the development and implementation of GenAI solutions, leveraging your technical expertise. The ideal candidate should have familiarity with business processes in 1-2 domain(.e.g Financial, Telecom, Retail) to quickly understand the requirements and come up with solutions to address the issues in these domains. Candidate is expected to have a deep understanding of AI technologies and experience in designing and implementing cutting-edge AI systems. Additionally, expertise in data engineering, DevOps, and MLOps practices will be valuable in this role.
 
Responsibilities
 

• Lead the development and implementation of Generative AI and LLM projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Design and deploy Proof of Concepts (POCs) and Points of View (POVs) across various industry verticals, demonstrating the potential of Generative AI applications.

• Developing the approach or high level solution to address industry specific business problems. In doing so take up deep study of the business problem, the data required to address the problem and derive the end to end approach and ML model to solve the problem.

• Conceptualizing, Developing and implementing an overall organizational data strategy that is in line with business processes. The strategy includes model designs, database development standards, implementation and management of AI/ML Models interfacing with warehouses and data analytics systems.
• Coordinating and collaborating with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors for the smooth functioning of the enterprise models. 
• Managing end-to-end data Architecture, from selecting the platform, designing the technical Architecture, and developing the application to finally testing and implementing the proposed solution.
• Defining and managing the flow of data required for model development and dissemination of information within the organization. 
• Install and configure information systems to ensure functionality
• Analyse structural requirements for new software and applications
• Engage effectively with customers, showcasing and demonstrating the relevance and impact of Generative AI applications in their businesses.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI/ML solutions into cloud environments (Azure, GCP, AWS, etc.).

Who You Are

MUST HAVE SKILLS

• Graduate / Postgraduate in computer science or computer engineering or equivalent with 8-12 years of experience in the IT Industry.
• Minimum 5-6 years of hands on experience Data Scientist Role or Similar role. 
• Understanding of Transformers, LLMs, Fine Tuning, Agents and RAG techniques.
• Strong Domain experience in at least two industries (.e.g. Financial, Retail, manufacturing, Telecom)
• Strong understanding of predictive modeling, NLP and text analysis, Machine Learning.
• Should have good exposure of Machine learning Algorithms and AI.
• Should have done 2-3 projects in domain of expertise, 
• Should have strong good knowledge of Python, C/C++.
• Experienced in manipulating and analysing complex, high-volume, high dimensionality data from various sources to highlight patterns and relationships.
• Be able to communicate complex quantitative analysis and algorithms in a clear, precise, and actionable manner.
• Should have worked on Dashboard development in the past.
• Knowledge of systems development, including system development life cycle, project management approaches and requirements, design, and testing techniques
• Proficiency in data modeling and design, including SQL development and database administration
• Ability to implement common data management and reporting technologies, as well as the basics of columnar and NoSQL databases, data visualization, unstructured data, and predictive analytics.
• Data mining, visualization, and Machine Learning skills
