NVIDIA is looking for a Software Engineering Manager to lead DVS SRE team within the IPP Group (Infrastructure, Planning and Process). IPP is a global organization within NVIDIA. What you'll be doing:

  • Build and lead a highly skilled and motivated SRE team focused on Development support, automation and incident management.

  • Work with Engineering, Product Management, and Customer Program Management teams to define, prioritize, and implement features, infrastructure, processes, and workflows.

  • Help identify potential or observed weaknesses in the current process, offer ideas for actions that can improve quality, and participate in quality initiatives and drive continuous improvement.

  • Work with various internal teams to build roadmap of work that feeds into the sprint plans for execution.

  • Identify and support technological growth opportunities within the company to support an expanding set of users!

What we need to see:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.

  • 3+ years of Management experience in large, cross-matrix, and geo-dispersed technology organizations focused in/around the server and data center space—strong experiences in Product Engineering with 10+ overall years of overall experience.

  • A deep understanding of computer architecture & operating system fundamentals

  • Strong experience in building CI/CD pipeline

  • Strong automation experience including managing automation frameworks.

  • Excellent thought process for identifying risks and developing robust mitigations

  • Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills, specifically a proven track record to effectively guide and influence within a diverse team

  • Experience with software delivery using Python, Java, or similar, and using ElasticSearch/LogStash/Kibana, Grafana/Prometheus, or equivalent

  • Background with agile software development methodologies

  • Experience working in and leading distributed teams

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Strong automation experience including managing automation frameworks.

  • Ability to design and create tools to reduce manual work.

  • Experience with container and virtualization technologies such as Docker, and Xen, cloud networking, infrastructure and service security

  • Experience with Machine Learning and Data Analytics and their application

The base salary range is 164,000 USD - 258,750 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits. NVIDIA accepts applications on an ongoing basis.
